• 8am-9am Check-in, Bib Pick-up, & Ticket Sales. Inside Buttermilk Mountain Lodge
• Athlete Pass = $80, Spectator Pass = $100, Coach Pass = Free
• Located Inside Buttermilk Mountain Lodge
Course will be on lower buttermilk starting above the buttermilk halfpipe on riders left finishing at the riders left of the Buttermilk Halfpipe.

Format

• Inspection @ 9:15a. 1 Run
• Training from 9:45am-10:45am
• Time Trials @ 11:00a.
• Heats start @ 12:00p.
• Brackets will continue immediately throughout the day.
• Starter or any other USASA Official will announce brackets.
• Start Cadence will be given by USASA Representative (Technical Supervisor, Series Director, or Starter)
• Start Cadence is as follows
-Racer Ready
-Attention
-Gate will drop inside of 5 seconds after “Attention”
• Start List for Time Trials will be on TeamApp (USASA AspenSnowmass Series.)
• Brackets info can be found on www.liveheats.com, search USASA Aspen Series.
• We will only load the athletes in the bracket that will be dropping. We will not be lining up brackets outside of the group about to race.

Disqualification for following…

• Competitor does not stop when the starter gives the signal for a
false start.
• Malicious or intended interference with other racers.
• Competitor does not pass a gate correctly.
• Athlete’s helmet comes off on course.
• Use of Fluro wax.
• Unsportsmanlike conduct
• Failure to comply with Ski Area Rules

Additional Points

• Helmets must be worn by ANYONE on course strapped in to ski/ride equipment.
• SkiCross athletes MUST be wearing plastic eared helmets.
• Always check with Finish Coral Course Official to see if you have another heat.
• The use of Fluro waxes is PROHIBITED.
• Bibs must be visible on all competitors while on course at any time.
• Both feet must be strapped in when passing a gate and the finish line.
• You can unstrap to hike back up if you have missed a gate.
• The TS, SD, Starter, or Gate Official will inform you one of two ways for gate passing…
- By Pointing Uphill if you need to properly pass a gate.
- By Pointing Downhill if you have already properly passed a gate.
• If you experience legitimate interference, sit down on course and cross your arms above your head. You will be tended to by (either) TS/SD/Starter/Gate Official.
• Awards @ Bottom of Buttermilk above the deck roughly 30-45 Minutes after Finals.
