Schedule & Format

• 8am-8:55a Check-in, Bib Pick-up, & Ticket Sales.

(Check in @ the AVSC Clubhouse under Venga Venga in the Snowmass Mall)



• Athlete Pass = $80, Spectator Pass = $100, Coach Pass = Free

• 9:15a-9:45a = Practice (lowdown Park, Ski athletes Rascal, and ruggie, and Snowboard athletes Rascal, Ruggie, Grommet, please obey all resort closures)

• Practice for Ski athletes Grommet and over, and Snowboard athletes Menehune and over in public makaha park until event start time after the lowdown event (Discussed in the riders meeting at Lowdown), please obey all resort closures

• 9:45a = Rider’s Meeting Recap, top of Lowdown Park.

• 8 & Under Ski + 10 & Under Snowboard Comp starts at 9:50am

• Starter will drop each athlete.

• Snowboard Runs 1 & 2, followed by Ski Runs 1 & 2, for both Lowdown and Makaha.

• Snowboarders inform starter of Regular or Goofy, Switch or Normal.

• Overall Impression, Best of 2 run format

• Start Lists will be available on LiveHeats

• Difficulty


Disqualification for following

• Helmet comes off during run.

• Unsportsperson-like Conduct (rude or foul behaviour/language/disrespect, etc.)



Additional Points

• Bibs must be visible on all competitors while on course at any time.

• Helmets must be worn by anyone on course strapped into skis or board.

• Judges are looking for skill and control. Example = A hucked, out of control 540 will score lower than a controlled, dialed 360.

• If there is legitimate interference during your run sit down and cross your arms over your head. A course official will come to you.

• Award time will be posted on TeamApp after the completion of the final run in Makaha(on deck above Four Mountain Snowboard on the Snowmass Mall.)
