Aspen Snowmass USASA Halfpipes and Rail Jams #1 and #2 February 7th and 8th 2026

Both Saturday Feb 7th and Sunday Feb 8th will run in the following manner @ Buttermilk.
Schedule & Format
• Check-in & Bib Pick-up from 8a - 8:50a, & 12:30p – 12:45p. Check in at Buttermilk Mountain Lodge. (Buttermilk)
• Athlete Pass = $80, Spectator Pass = $100, Coach Pass = Free
• Pipe training = 9:15a - 10a.
• Pipe Comp = 10:05a - Finish (roughly 12:15)
• Rail Jam Practice = all morning - course open to public.
• Rail Jam Comp begins roughly 30 minutes after last pipe competitor.
• Rail Jam heats will be 20 minutes long, with 10 minute break between heats.
• Start lists will be available via Liveheats once check-in closes.
• Starter will drop each athlete.
• Snowboarders inform starter of Regular or Goofy, Switch or Normal.

• Amplitude
• Variety
• Execution
• Difficulty
Disqualification for following…
• Helmet comes off during run.
• Unsportsperson-like Conduct in or out of venue (rude or foul behaviour/language/disrespect, etc.)
Additional Points
• NO GEAR STORAGE IN Bumps Building. Use Ticket Office Building (across walkway.)
• Bibs must be visible on all competitors while on course at any time.
• Helmets must be worn by anyone on course strapped into skis or board.
• Judges are looking for skill and control. A hucked, out of control 540 will score lower than a controlled, dialed 360.
• If there is legitimate interference during your run sit down and cross your arms over your head. A course official will come to you.
• Awards roughly 30 minutes after last competitor of Rail Jam (Just uphill from the Bumps Patio – Subject to change)
